File storage and destruction

File storage and destruction

During the life time of your case you will be provided with copies of any important documents within your file and with reasonable notice you are at liberty to inspect your file at the office. At the conclusion of your case please inform staff if you require the return of any private papers from the file; we must retain the file itself for inspection by The Legal Services Commission (LSC). It is the policy of the firm to store a file for three years, after which it will be destroyed.
