Case management

Case management

Joanne Coomber is the sole principal of this firm and has overall responsibility for all aspects of case management.

To ensure a quality service a case worker and supervisor is allocated to each file: Joanne Coomber will supervise all criminal files and Caroline Howell will be appointed as the case worker. Issy Hogg will supervise all military files and Christopher will be the allocated case worker. Issy Hogg will supervise all VHCC cases and the case worker will be appointed on an individual basis. Any changes to the above will be notified to the client on an individual basis.

The firm operates as a team and you will find a number of staff are involved in the conduct of your case. Our computerized case management system and file preparation systems ensure any member of staff dealing with your file will be aware of the details of your case. In the event an Agent solicitor or Counsel is instructed, they will be chosen from the firm's approved list and will have the appropriate level of experience for your case.  Even where an Agent or Counsel is instructed we retain the supervision of your file at all times.

If you contact the office and the person you wish to speak to is not available, a member of staff will ensure your message is past on, and if desired, a reply made as quickly as possible. Occasionally all staff are either attending upon clients or at court; in which case please leave a message on the telephone answering system and as soon as a member of staff becomes available they will return your call.
